What is the idea of housing?



Housing, or more formally known as housing accommodations, describes all the institution and designated use of homes or other areas in communities with the intention of housing people, including housing arrangements for the public. The concept of housing is not restricted to private houses just, though. There are several distinct types of housing, depending on what the intended use is. In some cases, it may even be called'displaced'.

Housing is used for many social purposes. By way of example, the state of California has a special fund, known as the California Housing & Community Development Trust Fund, which aids communities together with the setup of new houses. In the same way, there are public housing authorities in all US states.

Housing generally refers to private homes, flats or other institutions that are rented to tenants. As the name implies, these establishments are normally owned by the owners' agents.
